Working from home has become the norm for those who have kept their jobs during the COVID-19 pandemic, and some companies are now hiring for fully remote roles. FlexJobs, a website dedicated to finding remote jobs, has reported data revealing the seven highest-paying vacant remote jobs in the fields of computing. The data is based on the 5,904 companies in the job platform database. Often remote jobs require you to be in a certain city, state, or country because of legal, tax, and licensing issues, according to FlexJobs. But this list of roles in computing is truly remote: You can do them from anywhere in the world.The list, ranked by salary, includes details on the role, firms hiring, and the salary.Doist – Head of product ($144,790)The role requires you to manage and develop products for Doist, which makes productivity software.  You will be responsible for the long-term strategy and will have to work with the product team and the managers of marketing, support, engineering, and design. Doist requires product manager experience.Xapo – Senior data science engineer ($126,510)

Xapo is a Hong Kong-based bitcoin debit card provider. As a senior data science engineer, you will design and build data structures on a multiprocessing architecture like MPP, and data pipelines using Amazon web services (AWS Redshift).You must have experience in coding, designing, and building dimensional data models. Xapo allows a flexible schedule.Security Trails – DevOps engineer ($95,075)Security Trails makes tools that assess a company’s current and historical web data. A DevOps engineer works with developers and the IT staff to oversee the code releases. You will be responsible for designing protocols, problem-solving, and maintenance of the systems. The responsibilities for the role include creating a road map for products, managing deadlines, and ensuring all duties come within budget. The firm requires senior-level manager experience (director, department head, vice president, general manager, or C-suite level).WebDevStudios – Backend engineer ($72,353)WebDevStudios is a WordPress website design and development agency. The role requires you to fulfill engineering duties.
